Notes

Did not enjoy the pattern. After trying on finished sock #1, I decided to rip and re-knit into plain vanilla sock, and let the yarn sing!

04.27.10 - I guess I was not In the Mood for this texture…it was well-written, but it made a super-tight fabric…and every time I picked it up I thought, “Ugh! I don’t wanna knit that!” Soooo, I am NOT knitting sock #2 in that pattern…just a personal preference thing.

04.30.10 - in three days, I knitted a whole sock. I hate it. I think the fabric is too tight, and I really don’t ever want to see this “magic-loop” needle again for socks…like, ever, at this point. Am I losing my mojo? I hope not…the bamboo DPNS are now out, and I am casting on again, cuff-down this time…aaaargh!

05.14.10 - Finished heel, decreasing gussets on third attempt at sock #1…and this time is the charm, methinks!

05.22.10 - I have actually begun sock # 2…or 4, depending how you look at it! I will finish in May!

05.27.10 - took out socks to knit while waiting at Dr. office, and needle #5 is missing! Now, I know that I can (and apparently will) finish this sock with only 4 needles, but I am a little perplexed…this is the first DPN I have ever lost…you may now all welcome me to the club!

05.29.10 - finished in the car to and from the wool fest in Wooster today! What a great day!
