Love, love, love this pattern!

Many, many Mods!:
Using self striping yarn, with color management and un-matching stripes.

Knitting the back in two pieces, with a center seam, to match stripe width on sleeves with width on front/back.

Working bottom up, from a provisional cast on. Will add 2x2 ribbing after seaming.

Backs, knit 60 rows (no ribbing) before sleeve shaping.
Knit 40 rows, then work shoulder shaping.
Place live sts on waste yarn, rather than binding off.

Length-wise, work fronts to same counts.
Add panel of cables, 16 sts wide, with crosses on right side rows, starting on row 3.
Decreases for v-neck start 4 rows before sleeve shaping. (This was not necessary, but I did it on both fronts…my math brain mslfunctioned…lol!)

Ribbing 14 rows, bind off on row 15.
