First of two Wallaby sweaters! This one is for a long, tall, almost 8-year-old!

Notes:
132 for ribbing, 18 rounds
Pouch is 42 rows in this size
Body: 70 rounds (~15”) to underarm/sleeve prep for extra length (my girl is TALL)
On my wallaby sweaters, I like to make the placket overlap, so there are an extra 10 sts picked up (5 in front and 5 in back), then I decrease those out as I arrive at the neck/hood. It helps to use a dpn at the beginning of each row for about 8-10 rows after the split.
Hood to 52 rows.
Sleeves provisionally cast on at raglan decreases. Pick up 52 std (54, then dec out 2 on rnd 2). Knit plain 49 rnds, then start decreases (every 3rd rnd, 6 times), ribbing on 40 sts for 20 rnds.

Feb 8th…there are still some details, embroidery requested, but the knitting is done!
