Make just like the variegated pair!

CO 36 stitches with black & did 1 x 1 ribbing for 10 rounds. I decreased 4 stitches when I changed to SS, did yellow for one round. Changed to purple & did one round in SS, then 6 rounds in garter panel (center 10 stitches on back side in garter) before starting gusset increases.

I learned my lesson on the last pair of these, so this time I put the thumb gussets on either end of needle #1 (magic loop) & the garter panel on needle #2. I started the thumb with one KFB & increased every 3rd round until I had 12 stitches to set aside. I knit one more plain round, then BO, leaving the last stitch to add to the mitt body to get back to 32 stitches.

I knit in pattern for 6 rounds, one knit round of yellow, then one in black yarn, then add 4 stitches & rib for 5 rounds.
