I gave this to my mom for Christmas and she absolutely loved it. Her office is always cold and I wanted to make her something to keep her warm that also looked nice. She’s received many complements on it and says people are impressed that her daughter made it. She also says her coworkers tease her and call it her ‘wubba’ because she’s never without it; like a child with a security blanket lol. Like I said, her office is cold.

This is a really great pattern, and I would make it again. I might be knitting one for me in the future. The designer said that this is a great pattern for someone who’s never done a shawl or lace before and I have to agree. This is a great beginner knit. It looks a lot more complicated than it really is.
