I have stolen this yarn from my mom. She was supposed to learn how to make socks, then she decided she didn’t want to learn and doesn’t want to work on anything too complicated at this point in her life. She’s happy knitting blankets and not keeping track of decreases and making items that need to fit.

I counting on this pattern gathering and stacking the black into triangular shapes to make organic looking tiger stripes. If that doesn’t pan out then I’ll frog and do a vanilla pair.
