Buckle up. I’m going to do something crazy.

I did this helical with a handful of leftover sock yarn. Divided all 5 colours in half.

CO 56.

Casted on and did the ribbed cuff with Meadow Stripes. Then I added the mystery Cascade ball for the heel. Started helical when I added Clay Colours as I was picking up all the heel flap stitches, then added Tourmaline Stripes 1 row after that. When Clay Colours ran out I added Grey Brown Marl. And when that ran out I added the other ball of Meadow Stripes.
