Making socks for my friend, Jane. Realized that the gorgeous fingering weight merino yarn I bought was probably not the best choice for socks. Soft, yes. Less wear-worthy, double yes. Used a deep purple yarn for the heel and toes hoping to make the socks wear longer. Added a picot trim at the top.
