I hand spun and hand dyed some yarn which was supposed to end up fingering weight but was more of a worsted weight. I really liked the colors and two balls sat on my craft desk waiting to know what to become.

Weeks passed as I pondered.

Then I knew that this would be enough to make a baby sweater for my friend Jane’s about-to-be new granddaughter.

Worried that I would be short yarn, but had a bit left over.

I so miss SweaterWizard. I loved that software. Happily, I had saved an old baby sized pattern on my laptop and used that to make a cardigan.
