When I bought this yarn, I knew I wanted it to be a gradient sweater. I just wasn’t at all sure which sweater pattern I would end up using.

Then, Veera’s Bespoke sweater book came out and I knew it had to be something from this book. I decided that Pavement would be perfect.

Originally, I was going to go with the pop of color at the top and then the greys from light to dark. I decided to flip it. It will either be super cool or an unfortunate choice. We’ll see.

4. Brand New Love

8/3/16 Cast on for XL size. The yarn is dreamy but does have a tendency to split. This usually shows up when I’m doing the M1’s. Still, love the colors and the cashmere/silk blend is to die for.

10/3/16 Working on the 1st sleeve now. To keep the gradient theme going, it will be worked as follows:

1. Baby got Black for 4”
2. Storefront for 4”
3. Alloy for 4”
4. Brand New Love for 1” on smaller needles in garter

10/9/2016 And the knitting it done. Just need to block and weave in the ends. This was a truly fun knit. Might have to make another one.
