I stuck with the needles I used for my first version to get the right tension as this yarn is pretty fine for a DK. I did swatch with 4mm but it was too loose and the tension on the work actual work now looks like it’s close enough.

Ugh! This cardigan was a SAGA and I am glad it’s over. All of it was down to my uselessness though, the pattern is excellentok_hand

I was on a self imposed time crunch, which made it all worse. I do not recommend. I ended up knitting half of a sleeve on a smaller size needle, which I had to unpick. Then I ran out of yarn halfway through the button band woman-facepalming and when I finally took the cardigan to give to Nina, I forgot to bring the yarn with me to see the buttons on to it.

All in all it took way longer than it needed to take but it’s still lovely and she’s already worn it a lot, which is the main thing
