Making another curtain for the Sheshed but this time I thought I’d make notes as I go.
First square, Waterlily. Other squares noted as I made them, though I make too many and decide which I will use as I put them together at the end.

I have decided to go for a bit of a feather theme for the dangly bits, inspired by gorgeous feathers by poppyandbliss. these are tunisian crochet so keep the crocheting interesting. I plan to try a bit of fringing on them too - very boho!

Finally back to this, I’m starting the top. My squares vary between 28-30 stitches and I’ll do 2 stitches between for the joining. My starting chain will therefore be 191, and I plan to do at least one row of sc to give me a base for the heading.
I did 1 row sc, 1 row dc, 1 row sc as my base using my main colour. I then moved onto filet squares using colours as I felt like. This pattern is from The Handbook of Crochet Stitches by Betty Barnden.
