Jonty, is a Red Cap Goblin that helped Merry fight in the book Mistral’s Kiss. He sheds a tear as Merry tells him she would bring the Red Caps into their power. He’s a minor character in the book, but for some reason I really liked him and I this series!

This is the first time I’ve worked with this yarn and it was a dream to work with!! Soft, squishy, springy, nice twist and the stitch defintion is beautiful!

And this color! I just can’t get enough of it!!

The pattern was quick and easy and I like the cabled ban seperate. I was able to make the ban the length that I needed for my head and move forward from there.

Modifications: Made it a little longer to make it more of a berret then a cloiche. Plus I wanted to use up as much of this skein as I could!

Might have to make a few of these as gifts htis year.
