Notes

Daisy is Gabby’s rather shy but very sweet cousin. She prefers flowers and can usually be found hiding in the flower pots or in a nice, shady spot by the flower beds. Her favorite hobby is making daisy chains and they are by far her favorite flower. It’s probably easy to guess why!!

I used the pattern for Lurleen but dropped the spots and added ears from Kat the Kitchen Monster.

I don’t normally like novelty yarn, and Bliss wasn’t exactly the easiest to knit with. I have to admit, however, it makes a wonderful soft, fuzzy, cuddly monster. The super furry nature of Bliss makes it easy to knit a thick, dense fabric without having to go down into a very tight gauge, which is really nice. Sometimes my hands cramp when I’m working on plushies because of how hard a tight gauge can be. I only lightly stuffed Daisy, but could have stuffed her quite firmly without any of it showing through the stitches.

The flowers, stems, and leaves are my own design. The necklace and hair tie (ear tie?) and are removable and the necklace can come apart to make a bouquet if my daughter wants to do so. :)
