2nd finished beanie using this pattern. I used a bulky yarn so I used a larger hook and started with a foundation chain of 60 (needs to be a multiple of 5 for the pattern). I also reduced the height of the beanie by 2 rows.

I worked this in a spiral instead of joining after every row; this makes this beanie much easier to work up. Just remember to increase one stitch after row 6 to keep the fltr rounds going smoothly.
