My difficulty meter more accurately portrays my concentration meter! I know how to read charts, I just never prefer to; but this pattern has been calling me since it appeared in Knitty and I could no longer resist!

1/25 Finished the knitting, and added two extra rows so that the colors match up exactly; I think this would work for all chroma colors adjusting by only a few rows when finishing. I agree with another person who knit this too, when they said to maybe start with row 76 instead of row 1 so that the grafting stitches don’t involve cables. And since I used a wool blend, the cast on row was difficult to retrieve, it was a tiny bit felted from handling! So grafting was not as smooth as I had liked. I plan on making one for my mother and will start it on Row 76 with smoother yarn and see how it goes. Maybe cotton Patons Grace.
