Notes

Started with one knit row and one purl row before starting pattern to ease stitching together at the end; also ended with a knit and purl row when finished with pattern repeats.
If you cast on and start with the pattern right away a part of the “leaf” pulls up from the cast on edge creating a gap; if you knit as loosely as I do. This can be seen in the pictures, the green and white one that I originally started and frogged.

9/9 I am blocking it; then it needs to be sewn together. But first I plan on crochet edging the top and bottom with the white yarn.

The picture isn’t all that great, but I love the leaves in this yarn. To me, it looks like stained glass, yet it reminds my cousin of sky paintings by Van Gogh.
For my mother’s birthday on the 15th.
