Notes

This is our final round of IVF, calling for an extra special friend to help us through. Enter Eeyore (Highly recommend “Eeyore’s Gloomy Little Instruction Book” with this guy).

Following modifications were made to the pattern. Can be knit on double-pointed needles, but magic loop method worked very well too.

Head
Cast on 9 sts in flesh/beige.
Round 1 and all odd rounds: Knit all sts.
Round 2: Knit 1. (Inc., knit 1, inc.), knit 2. Repeat twice more to last stitch. Knit 1 = 15 sts.
Round 4: Knit 1. (Inc., knit 3, inc.), knit 2. Repeat twice more to last stitch. Knit 1 = 21 sts.
Round 6: Knit 1. (Inc., knit 5, inc.), knit 2. Repeat twice more to last stitch. Knit 1 = 27 sts.
Round 8: Knit 1. (Inc., knit 7, inc.), knit 2. Repeat twice more to last stitch. Knit 1 = 33 sts.
Round 10: Knit 1. (Inc., knit 9, inc.), knit 2. Repeat twice more to last stitch. Knit 1 = 39 sts.

Change to grey/blue yarn.
Knit 3 rounds
Next round: Knit 1 (ssk, knit 7, k2tog), knit 2. Repeat twice more to last stitch. Knit 1 = 33 sts.
Knit 4 rounds
Next round: Knit 1 (ssk, knit 5, k2tog), knit 2. Repeat twice more to last stitch. Knit 1 = 27 sts.
Knit 5 rounds.
Stuff head.

Work two rows

Next Row: Purl
Next Row: Knit 1, ssk, k to end of row (12 sts)
Next Row: Purl*
Repeat these 2 rows until there are 2 sts
Next Row: K2tog
Cut long tail and draw through rem st

With flesh/beige yarn, pick up 5 sts at base of ear.
Row 1: purl
Row 2: Knit 1, inc, knit to last sts, inc and knit 1. = 7 sts
Row 3: Purl
Repeat Row 2 and 3 once more until there are 15 sts
Work two rows
Next Row: Knit 1, ssk, knit to last 3 sts, k2tog, knit 1 = 13 sts
Next Row: Purl
Next Row: Knit to last sts, k2tog, knit 1 (12 sts)
Next Row: Purl*
Repeat these 2 rows until there are 2 sts
Next Row: K2tog
Cut long tail and draw through rem sts. Darn beige and blue pieces together (knit sides facing outward)

Sew ear to head on the left side, looking from the
front

Right Ear:
Cast on 5 sts in grey/blue
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Purl
Row 3: Knit 1, inc, knit to last sts, inc and knit 1. = 7 sts
Row 4: Purl
Repeat Row 3 and 4 once more until there are 15 sts
Work two rows
Next Row: Knit 1, ssk, knit to last 3 sts, k2tog, knit 1 = 13 sts
Next Row: Purl
Next Row: Knit to last sts, k2tog, knit 1 (12 sts)
Next Row: Purl*
Repeat these 2 rows until there are 2 sts
Next Row: K2tog
Cut long tail and draw through rem st

With flesh/beige yarn, pick up 5 sts at base of ear.

Cut long tail and draw through rem sts. Darn beige and blue pieces together (knit sides facing outward)

Sew ear to head on the left side, looking from the
front

Legs
Legs were knit in the round in one color.
Cast on 10 sts in grey/blue. Evenly distribute on double-point needles or for magic loop method.
Round 1: (Knit 1, incr. knit 3, incr., knit 1). Repeat once more = 14 sts
Round 2: Knit all
Round 3: (Knit 1, incr. knit 5, incr., knit 1). Repeat once more = 18 sts.
Knit 18 rounds.
Cast off.

Sew base of the legs and stuff. Then sew legs to body.

Tail
Cast on 5 sts in Blue on 4mm straight needles
Work 18 rows in garter st
Cast off
Make a tassel out of black yarn and sew to the end
Sew the tail to the butt

Bow
Cast on 6 sts
Work 15 rows in k1,p1 rib
Cast off ribways
Tie a piece of yarn around the middle and sew to the tail
