Test knit for Natasja Hornsby.

Stitch gauge found on 3.75 mms. Row gauge off by 3 stitches but goin for it. Jack like the more subtle upper combo with grey supersoft. Casting on!

MC1 - alpaca 2 and titicaca
MC2 - supersoft flannel and titicaca silver grey
CC - supersoft cinnamon and titicaca mahogany

Yoke is measuring 11.5” from neck edge to split for sleeves. Pattern states 10.75”. Son will try on yoke tonight and decision will be made if yoke depth is good for him crossed_fingers

Jack tried on last night. Fit is good. Probably have another 3ish” to knit before ribbing.

Natasja’s instructions are so very clear. Picking up sleeve stitches and keeping in pattern were no problem!

November 18, 2022

First neck ribbing was too tight. Ripped out. Picking up with size 4mm and 100 stitches.

Knit sleeves to 16” prior to ribbing. Length seems good for Jack. Onto ribbing

Used Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind off for both body and sleeve cuffs on stated needle size.

Weaving in ends now then blocking!

Bind off

I had difficulty with bind off being too tight. Using 4mm needles and Jeny’s surprisely stretchy bindoff for neck, cuffs and hem.
