Test for lovely Isabellgrin

Casting on size 1 as my gauge is slightly larger than called in pattern. I’m getting 21sts/4” and pattern asks for 22sts/4”. Row gauge is also off. I’ll have to watch underarm length.

Adding in a third colour - green.

Soooo I’ve knit back and 2 fronts to 7”. Size small stated 6.75” and size medium stated 7.25”. With size small I felt it would be tight in underarms.

Now joining in round.

Working down the body! Gosh I’m a slow purler lol

Decided to add pockets as other testers have done. Followed pocket instructions from pattern DAA (don’t ask again).

Placed pockets 11” from underarm. Pocket width 25 sts.

Knit body to 13” from underarm prior to ribbed hem.

Picked up edging stitches for button and and shawl collar.

Loved knitting the shawl collar.

Finished minus pocket liners. Plan to block first then pocket finishing.
