My first summer project finished! I designed some colourwork decorations on a crossword puzzle and ended up knitting them.

I chose a very simple pattern for this project so that I could focus on decorations. I must say this Shapely boyfriend is very nice pattern. Easy instructions, big variety on sizing and ability to make it look your own makes it wonderful.

Yarn is Garnstudio’s new recycled cotton, a quite heavy and bulky yarn in nice colours. What makes it wonderful is the price: 1,1 € /skein! Luckily I bought too much of it so I can still make something nice, maybe accessories.

Edit 23.7.2015: After using this cardigan few times I must say I’m a bit disappointed with this yarn. It leaves fluff on my t-shirt and skin. Disturbingly much, I had my armpits full of dark fluff from this. I hope washing the garment will help…
