This project did cost me already two hooks! One Prym Ergonomic and one KnitPro Symfonie. In both cases the hook head gave up due to the sturdy yarn and forces inflicted. Will need to get a metal hook for this one! First picture shows how far I got with these two hooks.
The yarn is also demanding on hands and wrists, but for such a small item (approximately 20cm diameter) this is doable. The result is nice though. Cute little shell for decoration or to hold and hide small items.

Made a second one from the same skein (finished on 2025/05/04) as I gave the first as a present to pack a pair of socks.
