This pattern is great! Like with other felting projects it’s hard to believe that the enormous objects you knit will eventually shrink to fit. The next freaky moment was as I took the slippers out of the washing machine (program „mini“ @ 60degC - about 60min total, along with an old jeans and polo shirt for friction). Out came two tiny felted, folded something. It took quite some pulling and pushing but surprisingly they grew well to fit in that process and while wearing them still wet (but after spinning @1400/min). Look and fit are great. The knitted structure is hardly visible any longer. Drops Snow was a good choice. However I needed much less yarn than anticipated even when considering that I used only one strand of yarn. Total weight of both slippers is 210g only!

I started of with the woman’s large size. But after finishing the first sole I was afraid it would turn out too narrow as the width was just the widest width of my foot - unfelted. Therefore, I followed the men’s medium instructions instead.

Also I chose to knit the soles seamless. Casted on with Judy‘s magic cast-on and worked in rounds with magic loop. Worked really well. Just needed to think of purling every other (non-increase) row.
