Notes

Misunderstood the decreasing directions for the ribbing.. I ended up decreasing one stitch every other row.. (decreased over 26 rows)

cast on 104
2rds stockinette
knit 10 rows
decrease 1 stitch every other row over 26 rows (91 st)
Knit 15 rows
decrease 1 stitch every other row over 26 rows (78)
knit 10 rows

begin stockinette section.
Knit 10 rows
decrease 1 stitch on either side of 3 mid back stitches (2tog)(ssk)
Total 11 rows

repeat 5 times (55 rows)
knit 5 rows, then decrease as above on 6th row until you have 56 stitches total

Knit 20 rows.

Begin standard heel over 28 stitches. (do not follow pattern here)

Knit 14, turn.
sl 1 purl across
sl k1 across.
repeat for 27 rows

turn heel: knit 16 ssk k1
sl1 purl 5 p2tog sl 1

Work until all stitches used. (16 stitches left)
Knit across, pick up 17 both sides.

Knit round
next round, decrease for gusset
repeat until 56 stitches total. End on decrease round.

Knit 30 rows for foot

Decrease every other row for toe. end with 24 stitches.
