Since these were a gift I wanted them to be machine washable so I worked with two strands of yarn held together.

I knit them entirely in garter stitch. Started with 40 rows before the shaping for what I consider a standard size slipper since the end result is stretchy.

I knit the ears with one strand of yarn to make them floppy but I think the next time I make these slippers I will knit the ears with two strands.

Embroidered the eyes and noses with scraps of black and light pink yarn.
