Cast 40sts on 3.25mm for small size socks.
2x2 ribbing for 3cms then
14 rounds knit.

Heel done, picked up stitches and am now back in the round.

Note to self: N1 has 16sts, starting at half of heel and includes the 10 picked up sts. N2 has the 10 top sts, N3 also has 10sts. N4 has the 16 picked up and the other part of the heel. Not how I’m used to it but the pattern dictates it so.

Foot length is around 5cms before the toe shaping.

First sock done. Second sock up to heel.

I was half-way through the second sock put this project down for a week or so and somehow forgot how to sock. And the notes I left myself didn’t help so Finch’s second sock is a little bit longer and pointier in the toe. The kitchener stitch looks like a bit of a dogs breakfast but second sock is done, yay!

Added photos. The socks are a little too big but they’ll work as winter socks. (It’s the middle of summer right now). One of the socks is rather wonky and bigger than the other, whoops haha. But the colours match pretty well so that makes me happy.
