Notes

12/26/2013 - I started this scarf a couple months ago but put it down to better focus on some other projects. I picked it back up 12/24/2013 and I’m about halfway done.

The stitch pattern came from Nicky Epstein’s book Knitting Over the Edge. It is the Caterpillar Eyelet rib. Because of the pretty scalloped edging I am knitting this scarf in two pieces then I plan to do Kitchener stitch to graft the pieces together. When I block it i will be sure to pin the scalloped edges giving as much definition to them as I can so it stand out.

The Yarn. I love it. It’s has a medium softness and great deal of warmth and bounce. I like how it shows the definition of the stitches. I will not be surprised if this scarf becomes a favorite.

Scarf is complete! It actually took me just about a week and a half to do. I had started it in November but put it down to finish a sweater. Once I got back on the scarf it knit up very quickly.

I like the yarn so much I am going to use it for my next sweater project Owls.
