08/21/10 - This pattern suggests using smaller needles to make the stitches of the picture “POP” … I’ll try this with a needle size a full 1 mm smaller than I normally use for dishcloths. Hopefully this works … perhaps I just need to knit with needles only 0.5 mm smaller, but let’s try this first!

Well, it’s done. It came out nice, but I have to work on getting used to cotton on the smaller needles. Practice makes perfect!
