Knitted the leave border first, picked up stitches sideways in the round, and simple st.stitch.

By the time it needs to be narrower, I’ve changed needles 10mm to 8mm and will go down for the cowl to 6mm.

Very quick and satifying (how do you spell this word, sorry..?) project!
