Was my Christmas gift from hubby in 2010.

Finally started this project after almost 3 yrs of hibernating.
Taking a class to see what tips I can pick up. Already learned the correct way to knit with two colors. I was twisting my yarn all these years. I always do everything the hard way it seems.
Because of casting on with MC instead of CC1 I ran out of MC for my last 10 rows of mitt & thumb on 2nd mitten. I was about to cry until a fellow classmate, Lisa, saved the day. She had the same kind of yarn in a very close color. I was able to finish my mitt. Yeah! Thanks Lisa!
Also, ran out of my purple lining yarn near the end of my second mitts thumb. Used some green to finish. It is on the inside so no worries. I always wanted a green thumb. :)
