Notes

What a wonderful trip with being able to visit 4 great yarn stores in NYC.
Our first afternoon I got to go to Habu & bought yarn for two different sweaters. Score!!!!! Then to our good luck discovered School Products Yarns was in the same building as Habu just down 4 floors. I had been to this store 10 years ago in a different location. They have since moved, obviously, & downsized the store greatly. Did not find anything I had to have here.
The next day we went to SoHo & went to Purl. Loved this store. If I lived in NYC I would love to work there. I found a pattern book that I NEEDed & a canvas bag with PurlSoHo printed on it to commemorate my visit.
Down the block we discovered Mango Tango yarn store. It was very eclectic. Not my taste. They had majorly BULKY yarn to make rugs, capes, etc. Also, a mixture of art, jewelry & plants. I walked out thinking that the only thing missing was the smell of incense. Ha!

I feel very Blessed that my husband & son were so patient with me as we scoured the city on a hunt for these yarn stores.
