I used size 8 needles and the german twisted cast on because I read everywhere that even the stretchiest cast on won’t be stretchy enough. I’m also making the size larger than I actually want to additionally accommodate, as I have an hourglass shape and the pattern focuses on waist size.

My yarn is somewhat stretchy, and the blocked swatch came out really cool.
