Dear Giftee has small wrists, so I only did two repeats of the chart instead of as many as the pattern calls for. I also only did 5+5 (for a total of ten) rows for the picot edges.
This was easy and nice to get into the rhythm of.
Also, I continued the leaf a bit onto the thumbs.

This was the first time I’ve done picot edges. It was also actually the first time I’ve really done blocking. I wasn’t really sure how to do it, so I put it on a vacuum cleaner tube plus a paper towel tub, and then sprayed it with water. It had quite the effect, so I must have done something right.
