So, um, now that I’ve just linked the pattern to this project, I see that she actually had a pattern for mitts. But I saw the socks and not the mitts, and just printed out the owl chart and did it upside down. xP
And I just did plain knitting outside the cables around the owls, because Giftee has small wrists and I didn’t want a crowded design.

The yarn is lovely. A really beautiful colour, and feels really nice and soft.

This was also my first time working with beads. Pre-stringing them was easy and worked great.
