12/29: I finished!!! Its diameter is longer than I am tall, so it’s at least 5.5’ across.
I might have finished a week or two ago, but as I started to cast off, my mother looks over and goes, “Oh, I think it would look nicer with a picot cast off.” Which I’d never done before, and the first video I tried to follow got frustrating and didn’t make enough sense to me. But then I finally found a different one that was super easy/sensical, and finished it up. :)

I chose a cast on method that makes a little hole (I believe it’s called the crochet cast on?), about the same size as the YO. I thought that would be cute.

I’m aiming to get it to be about 6 feet in diameter.
