Carrageen #2 for Raquel

Finished, blocked, with facings and linings and snaps.

A peek at the facing lining.

Snaps were a great idea because you don’t want to ruin the clean lines of the tunic drape.

Lovely Acufactum ribbon makes a charming button band facing and keeps the snaps from tugging too hard on the knitted fabric.

A look at the collar with the carrageenan moss ribbing.

Carrageen being blocked.

Here is what is leftover after making an adult XL cardigan tunic. A little scratchy to start but softened in the wash.

Here’s the 1kg cone I purchased.

Using loads of stitch markers helps with the ribbing repeat, waist shaping and sleeve decreases.

Close up of the lovely Acufactum ribbon.
