This is my idea so far (see second-last photo). Right now I am winding the skeins to prepare for dyeing. The yarn I have is 700m per 50g, so I am winding four balls into one skein.

Finished dyeing some days ago, the colour is a bit lighter than I wished but the more I work with it, the more I like :D
Yesterday I cast on and today I reached row 31 and will knit some more.

7.4.2010
I finished the square! Now I only need to knit back and forth at two sides to get the rectangle. If you look closely, you can see the live stitches on the knitting needles at the top and bottom of the bed.

After some hibernating I picked it up again (I would love to see that on my bed soon!). On pictures 5 and 6 you can see the current progress, the upper part being the rectangle add-on.

10.08.2011
After some more hibernating (exactly a year!) I finished no. 1 of the longer sides. It seems quite manageable now and hopefully I am finished this year! The first picture shows the current progress and three huge flowers are what is missing.

17.11.2010
Finally casting off! Now I need to unfold my sofabed to block this monster.
