BASE

Mermaid Tail knitted and crocheted by L.J.C in 2019.

14/06/20: (Crochet) 4mm. Added fins & embroidery detailing.

HAT

15/06/20: (Crochet) 3.5mm (pink & orange), 4.5mm (orange & yellow) & 5.5mm (yellow & blue). Modified pattern - Extended hat from original 15 rows to 22 rows, to get correct length. Added fin to back of hat at 20 rows.

16/06/20: (Crochet) 5.5mm. Shell Stitch added as side fins (aka ear flaps). Worked over 7 stitches - treble crochet.

16/06/20: (French Knitting) 2 loops on 4 pegs. For top of hat tendrils.

Wristlets x2

18/06/20: (Crochet) 3.5mm

Basic Shell Stitch used for ear flaps (blue), plus 8ch each side and dc stitch used around one shell edge. Use dc to work back along Ch, other shell edge, and beginning chain.
