Notes

Original pattern to fit mug size: 25sts x 20cms

Modified original pattern to fit my mug size: 21sts (high) x 28cms (long)

My Mug Size: 8cm (d) x 9.4cm (h)

NOTE: First time knitting with 100% cotton. Not sure how I feel about it. It’s umm different.

Button hole worked out so it was to the side edge of the project.

Button: 2.3mm round (4 holes) light blue (with Fleur edging detail pattern).

Mug Cosy Position: Button at top inside of handle. (See note below)

Next Time: If I made this project again, I would work the button hole so it was centered. I do not like the off center look, and unless it was secured tightly the weight of the cotton yarn (overall weight of mug cosy) makes it pull down a bit and out of shape. This means the button and button hole have to be at the top, in order for the weight of the mug cosy to sit right.
