This is a VERY interesting Pattern to Test Knit. I’ve never done a shawl in 25 sections, but I loooove doing Test Knits for Tellybean Knits.

While I did my best to meet the Test deadline, my left handedness and some early on yarn issues did get in the way. (The gorgeous indigo yarn from Urth yarns was in very bad shape and I had to essentially wind the salvageable bits into small balls to do the project. They actually reached out and sent me a replacement later!!)

She was still very happy with my end results!!

NOTE: As a Left Handed Knitter, I ran into a bit of difficulty, as the panel sections further down wound up being swapped.

I was unable to figure out at the time how I could pick up and knit to match the pattern info, so I may wind up knitting this again!!!

As I knit the sections, I was drawn to adding beads from the beginning although they were not part of the pattern. My mind saw Louisiana Bayous, Lakes, Night Skies and misty fog, so the beading reflects that.

I did have to reverse things like SSK, K2Tog, etc in order to have them slant the way of the pattern, but that was no bother at all.
