CO 122 96 - Using the Provisional Cast-On method.

On the needles, this cowl measures about 7" wide. I prefer about 5.5 inches wide so I would CO 96 stitches if I were to knit it again.

I decided to frog and start over…SO happy I did!!

After about ten rounds of the first chart, I did not like the look of the two odd purl stitches but I really did not want to rip back to the beginning…so now I'm knitting them. Once the cowl is finished I think those ten rounds of purls won't be that noticeable.

Since I frogged and started over anyway, I went ahead and eliminated the two purls altogether and am just knitting the chart - looks much better!

After working Chart A & Chart B each once, the piece measures 12” and the width measures 5”

Final measurements:
26 inches long (before Kitchener)
5.5” wide

Worked Chart A, Chart B, Chart A and then Chart B. Ended on round 50 of Chart B so round 51 will be my Kitchener.
