Test Knit for Tikki
Knitting the 7yo size for miss 11 (26”)
achieved gauge on 3.75. Ribbing on 3.5.
Picked up 102 on button band. Start and end with p2 (ws)
Used exactly 3 skeins of black (although it says 3.24 skeins, each skein weighed approx 110g)
Total garment weight: 386g (including buttons)
Used 20g of each contrast colour (coloured yoke section 57g total)

No extra length on body, but I did knit a couple of extra inches on the sleeves. Each sleeve used approx 50g knit to the length specified in the pattern. I knit an extra 10g/ 20m

Sewed grosgrain ribbon and backing buttons into the button band for stability.
The only thing I would change would be on the hem, I would start and end the row with K3 or P3 instead of K1 etc. I prefer the look of the knit stitches being at the edge.
