My sphere is Ms Premise-Conclusion’s 18-row Ideal Sphere. I worked all decreases into front loops only to eliminate gaps. I incorporated the “F” into the fabric with color-change chart technique. When the sphere was nearly complete, about 12 stitches around, I put stones in the toe of a thick black sock, wadded and stuffed the sock into the sphere leaving some protruding from the opening, and crocheted a HDC “neck” onto the sphere. I secured my chain wick to the sock and decreased around to give the neck a flat top. I attached the color strands for the flame as directed in the original pattern. My finished F-Bomb has a bit of heft and stands upright.
