I made a yellow minion with the single eye and used the configuration for the evil one (ie, ch26 for the headband). I made one difference, the first round I did in black for the pupil.

To make the hanging loop on top, attach yarn to head with a sc or a slip st, chain 40, sc into head again, ch1, sc across chain and sl st into head. Leave a long tail, and use it to really secure the four corners of the chain in.

For the mouth, I used a scrap of the black, pulled one of the three larger strands out, and used that as my “cotton”. It’s thicker and gave a better look.
