February 4th: Working on Part 1! Decided to make the Cowl and have about 5 more inches to go to reach the length specified in the instructions.

Finished! I used two balls of the yarn. I did not single crochet around the entire cowl - I only worked the edging for the 3 braid strips. I chose not to use buttons on mine ends. Love how it looks and I think the full scarf size would be stunning too.
