This bag is decorated with small pieces of freeform sprang in combination with hairpin lace and some crochet and knitting to finish it (and manipulate the sprang).

I had intended to use these pieces of sprang for a garment, but because of the microparts of plastic that end up in the sea when washing our clothes, I don’t want to make any more clothes with fibers that contain plastic parts. The yarn I have used for the sprang is partly cotton and partly synthetic…. But it is nice for a bag I think.
