To meet pattern gauge I was at 6.5mm needles but the fabric looked too holey.
Dropped down to 5.5mm needles and increased to 75 stitches.
The rib pulls together tight and even still the scarf is only 7inches wide.
Slip first stitch purlwise and purl last stitch on every row to prevent curl.

Creates nice pattern.
