This yarn has a silver thread running through it, which makes it quite elegant, IMO (even though it doesn’t really show up in the photos). I think it would be great as a christening blanket.

I forgot that this yarn is sort of “textured” and not smooth like regular yarn so the pattern doesn’t show up as well as with a smooth yarn. I’ll do another one in the future with a “regular” yarn.
