Wow, this shawl knitted up like the wind, less than two weeks (of course using size 11 needles and worsted weight yarn certainly helps!). I love the way the textural pattern pops on both sides, front side has a great diamond pattern which ended up looking to me like flames in a fireplace given the orange, brown and red colors of the yarn, while the back side comes together in a wavy rib-like pattern, very unexpected and delightful, making the shawl reversible. The original pattern was for a scarf, and I needed a shawl size so I added an additional 14-stitch pattern repeat---perfect!
