I thought it would be fun to have a subscription to the Elann sample program and get four new yarns every month. This last month was black and white and the first one was this great, crisp, glossy Louisa Harding “Merletto” so I went right online and took the last 6 skeins of Mink (light brown) and 10 full skeins of their pink color. On the size 5 needles, the Wings of the Swan pattern I did a couple of years ago really pops, but after three skeins I realized I would need more yarn to make a decent shawl, so I managed to track it down in the right dyelot on Ebay and sprung for 10 more skeins. It was my TV project at home for the past month and went surprisingly quickly. Love the look of it!
